Hi, my name is Kaydence and my dream is start my 6th grade school year at Cumberland Academy. I have ADHD and it's a school for special kids like me! I went to visit for a day and I already made 2 new friends. I'm excited because they have cooking class ( I like to cook) and a school puppy named Charlie! I want to join the cheer team and the Girl Talk club. Cumberland Academy can help me to make good grades, and I hope to be the smartest person in my class one day and have friends. About the school: Cumberland Academy of Georgia is a school for Exceptional Students located in Sandy Springs and specializes in the needs of students with high-functioning Autism, Asperger's, ADD, ADHD and other learning differences. The school serves students in grades 4-12 who have difficulty succeeding in a traditional school setting. Small class sizes, challenging college preparatory curriculum, nurturing and supportive faculty and staff, and a strong emphasis on social and life skills encompasses student life.

School tuition is $26,100. Kaydence has received already received $11,923 in scholarships and financial aid. The goal of $13,300 is what is needed to help make her dream come true and allow her to start fresh in a new school where she'll have the support that she needs to grow and have a fair chance for success!
