Help Fund Kama’s Healing Sabbatical
Donation protected
This February, Kama Mitchell will be taking a healing sabbatical to rest and recharge. Our community loves Kama, a visionary leader, doula, and teacher. Please consider making a contribution to support her restoration.
Kama Tai Mitchell is the founder and Executive Director of Rootead, a nonprofit organization in Kalamazoo that is dedicated to birthing justice. She has worked tirelessly to get this organization off the ground and to sustain it. Kama has shown up in so many ways over so many years for the Kalamazoo community. During Kama's sabbatical, Rootead will be supported by the COO. This time away will allow for sustainability for herself and the organization.
Kama has served our community tirelessly and this is an opportunity to support her rest and healing. Please support a BIPOC leader in Kalamazoo in a way she is directly asking for. The funds will cover compensation and rest and all funds will go directly to Kama.
