The Nahant Police Department is fundraising for our K9 Zibit. This fundraiser will help pay for future vet bills, equipment, training supplies, and general needs for K9 Zibit.

K9 Zibit is certified in Patrol, which means he responds to Building Searches, Article Searches and Area searches. Criminal Apprehension, Handler Protection, and Tracking. Tracking means he can be deployed to track an individual (Ex. lost child in the woods) He will be attending Narcotics School as well. He has already been deployed for mutual aid for two of our surrounding communities as well!

K9 Handler Officer Robertson is a U.S Air Force Veteran and has a Master's Degree in criminology and criminal justice. His commitment to growth is unwavering as he has stepped into the role as our K9 Handler for Zibit
