Hello I am starting a go fund me for the best dad a girl could ask for. My Dad Jimmie Henson has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. As devastating news that is, he is ready for this long journey to fight his cancer. This journey consist of 5 months of chemo and radiation every single day, followed by severe life altering surgery to remove his tumor. With these unforeseen circumstances Jimmie, who is the only provider in his household for his wife and 13 year old adopted daughter, will not be able to work full time, along with outrageous medical and gas expenses that comes with his treatment.

Jimmie worked for and supported the community of Anamosa for 2 decades. You may know him as one of the best water superintendents Anamosa has EVER had. He served his community by volunteering as a firefighter and became so passionate about it that he went to school to obtain his firefighter 1 & 2 accreditation.

He was also the vice president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. I can go on and on about that love and support he gave to his fellow community and friends. But right now he needs all the love and support he can get.

Jim Henson is simply amazing. He is a father of 6 children and papa to his 12 grandchildren. Battling cancer and still trying to go to work to provide for his family will be near impossible.
