Help fund Jasper evacuee couple rebuild

Meet Brittney and Ben

Newly engaged Jasperites who have lost their home, belongings, community and more than is fathomable to most of us.

I had the honour living with them as a roommate the past few years before moving myself just prior to this disaster. Brittney worked with me as Registered Nurse at the Jasper hospital and has helped many people through difficult periods of their lives on a daily basis.

Outside of work they are both avid adventurers who have called Jasper home as summer students throughout school and now into their careers.

As they start the long process of rebuilding their life, I have started this gofundme in the hopes that we can help them through this traumatic journey.

Though we won’t be able to replace a lifetime of belongings, memories or mementos your money will be going towards:

- Daily essentials such as food, clothing toiletries, gas

- Longer term items such as bills, furniture, kitchen supplies

- Rent, temporary and longer term

- Adventure gear that will get them back outside and into their place of refuge once more
