Help Jania James Go to High School

Help Congolese refugee Jania raise enough money to attend high school at La Salle Academy this fall. Jania is a straight-A student and talented athlete who was recently accepted to her dream high school, La Salle Academy for 9th grade. Going to LaSalle will dramatically improve her chances of going to college and pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor.

Since moving to the U.S., Jania’s parents have been working non-stop to try to provide for their family. They are leaders in the refugee community and have helped dozens of other families resettle. Now they need our help.

Tuition at La Salle is $15,675 a year and the school has offered her $6,500 in financial aid. Her parents can contribute $4,000, so she needs $4,675 to close the gap.

Help Jania and her family raise $4,675 by September so that she can start 9th grade on time.

**Stay in and watch a movie instead of going to the cinemas ($22) and give Jania hope
**Give up a round of beers this weekend ($50) and give Jania the gift of a brighter future
**Share a home-cooked dinner with your date instead of going out ($100) and give Jania the chance to follow her dream
