Help Fund James’ Recovery

On June 22nd, a motorist rolled into the intersection of Lawrence Expressway and Kifer Rd in Sunnyvale on a red light. I was traveling 45mph on Lawrence with the green, and was unable to stop in time. I lost my car, and Had to go to the ER.

I expect to get some compensation from the other driver, but that is weeks if not months in the future, and what I get is very uncertain.

Myself and my roommate Phoenix have been on restricted income due to Phoenix fracturing their foot back in november. This has left our savings quite low, and In the aftermath of this accident I have had to drain all my Paid Time Off to get transportation to get to work.

I am now in precarious financial straights, and can take no time off to heal. I have a bruised sternum, strained/bruised both pectorals, I inhaled a lot of smoke, and face severe anxiety when i drive, and panic attacks at night preventing restful sleep.

I am requesting help from those who can to fund my recovery. $200 allows me to take a full day off of work. I am asking for $1000 to fund up to 5 days as neccisary to help heal and defray furture medical costs. Any excess or unused funds will go to help support Phe’s recovery and to rebuild our savings.
