Hello. First, I want to thank everyone for your donations. I raised $4,000 with GoFundMe! Your generosity helped towards retaining an appeal lawyer for my son Jacob. But help is still needed.

My son's appeal lawyer, in total, is $20,000. The lawyer agreed to half down, and $1,000 a month payments until he is paid in full. I raised $4,000 with GoFundMe, but had to take out loans, which are high interest, for the remaining $6,000.

I'm going to be honest, I'm buried right now. No one is helping me. I'm the only one taking care of my son and I'm struggling. With the monthly loan payments, lawyer payments, sending money to my son, and my own bills…I am beyond broke. I've even moved from my apartment into someone’s garage to have extra money towards the bills.

I need to get my head above water by paying off the loans. The interest is killing me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Everyone! I am still in desperate need for funds to retain an appeal lawyer for my son. An appeal has been filed by a court appointed lawyer, but I need to retain a non-appointed appeal lawyer to ensure my son's case gets overturned.

Jacob is a Veteran. He served 10 years in the US Army, with three deployments, and retired as a Sergeant. Due to these accusations he has lost everything. An innocent man is behind bars. This is an injustice, and justice needs to be served.

Jacob has two brothers and a sister who deeply love and miss him. We are the only family that he has and is counting on us. Please help bring a son and a brother home.
