Indigo is a short film that follows a university student coming to terms with the fact that her suicidal girlfriend may never get better.

The film was written by Leila Morey who will also be starring in and co-directing the short. We are aiming for an entirely female led and largely queer cast and crew! All the proceeds go directly to the short film. Equipment rentals, payroll, and film permits are all very expensive and we truly appreciate every dollar that goes into the film!

Why this film?

We get it. with so many independent films asking for funding right now, why support Indigo? Suicide, and mental health in general, is a topic that is often villainized and misrepresented. Films exists to help people feel seen, if even one person sees this film and feels represented in their struggles, we can die happy.
