Independence High School’s Culinary Department needs your support! My name is Chef Deidre Mallow and I’m the Culinary Instructor along side Chef Luvena Brown. We are taking students to Orlando, April 25 - April 28, 2025 for a Culinary Competition.

Every year, we work hard to provide the best possible educational and networking opportunities for our students, but we can’t do it alone. The expense of this trip is not easy for all families involved. The students have been working hard at fundraising but we need to count on our community to help us close the gap.

Would you consider making a donation to fund our trip? The students will learn from a Top Celebrity Chef from Food Network and some of the World’s Best Chefs and Culinary Instructors. The trip includes travel expenses, hopper passes to Disney parks, and an International Gala Dinner and Career Forum.

A gift of any amount will allow us to make this trip a reality for students that would normally not get such an experience!
