Remember back in 2019 before the pandemic lockdown? And Extinction Rebellion was doing everything it could to raise the alarm about the climate emergency, which it seemed most people didn’t know about and the media were ignoring.
Valerie Brown, Larch Maxey, Mike Lynch-White and Roger Hallam, seen in the picture above outside Iselworth Crown Court, were four brave people: three scientists, one a grandmother, and two fathers - who took action at Heathrow to highlight the third runway issue, so I am running this fundraiser to help cover their trial costs.
They now face a grueling 4 week trial for their part in the Heathrow Pause, a campaign which, in 2019, highlighted the illegality and immorality of expanding Heathrow Airport and building a Third Runway, which Boris said he would stop by lying in front of the bulldozers if he had to!
They have been advised they could be sent to prison if the jury finds them guilty. Please support them in anyway you can: join them in the court’s public gallery, outside court, or contribute to their travel, accommodation, food and other costs associated with this trial.
Any surplus donations will help other conscientious protectors face their trials.
Thank you!
