This last Tuesday (12/10), after months of going to the vet for Harvey’s dizziness, we got the news that he most likely has a brain lesion and that he might not have much time left. In order to confirm this and to figure out our next steps, we have to get some scans and tests done that I simply just can’t afford.

If you know me, you know that I don’t go many places without Harvey, and that he was one of the reasons I got sober in the first place. He has saved my life more times than I can count, he sleeps on the bed with me, and I can’t imagine life without him. He’s only 8 years old and the thought of losing him is absolutely unbearable.

His next appointment with a neurologist is on December 23, and I need to get the money together before then, so I decided to make this GoFundMe. The CT scan is going to cost around $3,000, the spinal tap is around $1,500, and then we have the costs of anesthesia, medication, and other tests. Even donating $20 will help.
