Help fund Grover & Lorena’s HoneyRock training trip.

Friends and family,

We are trying to help our dear friends, Grover and Lorena, get to HoneyRock in August. Grover and Lorena are the directors of Camp Kewiña in Cochabamba, Bolivia and will be in Pittsburgh for a CCI (Christian Camping International) training where they are working on making more camp materials available in Spanish, for camps throughout Latin America.

Camp Kewiña was developed largely by an old-time HoneyRocker that went to Bolivia as a missionary many years ago. Grover and Lorena have a 5-day window after the conference to visit HoneyRock in an effort to learn from the well-developed programs there and take back ideas and inspiration to their own camp ministry in Bolivia. Their open dates work out perfectly with our time at HoneyRock this summer, allowing us to share our cabin with them so that they can have housing during one of HoneyRock’s busiest times.

Unfortunately, flights in and out of Rhinelander are rather expensive and are prohibiting this potentially enriching and valuable experience. Would you consider donating to help them get to HoneyRock?
