Help Fund Greg Crowder's FOUR BLIND MICE
Hi, my uncle's name is Greg Crowder, and he will be directing a short film. I'm serving as an executive producer. He's been a writer/producer for many years. We're in pre-production on a short film, FOUR BLIND MICE, and then we will move on to a few feature productions." It has been an incredible journey, and I look forward to this next chapter." Greg
FOUR BLIND MICE examines how one ILLEGAL GUN impacts the lives of a handful of people, forever changing their destiny.
Carlos Rivera, 10, stumbles across a gang shooting and picks up a gun from the street. When Lolita Rivera, in her 30s, finds the gun, she takes it from him and accidentally shoots her abusive husband before he can harm her. After discarding the gun, Lolita's gun is discovered by Trevor Jones, a man in his 30s and an ex-marine suffering from severe PTSD and alcoholism. His wife, Deborah, 30, decides she's had enough, so when Trevor attempts to take his own life with the gun he found, she becomes his final victim before he takes his own life.
Are you interested in creating a short film? We have an award-winning Director of Photography and editor. While we plan to expand this into a feature film, we currently have a Red Komodo camera, a talented lighting crew, a sound technician, a makeup artist, and the first AD on our team, including the cast, which is exceptional and works for minimal or no pay.
Gofundme allows us to make an incredible short film. We thank you and them for supporting this endeavor.
Your support will contribute to the wages of the cast and crew and cover any rentals needed for production and the cost of permits. It will pay for the talent and crew.
This is a Micro SAG short film, and I am grateful to SAG for allowing us to create this fantastic short film under their Micro Short Film agreement. Without their support, it would be non-union, and we are committed to following all the guidelines outlined in the contract.
After the film is completed, we will look to festivals and, if fortunate enough, get a deal to make a feature of this illegal gun pandemic, which kills over fifty thousand people a year.
This is why I'm producing this film. To do movies like this. I'm so grateful for all your help. $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 goes a long way to creating this movie. "It takes a village."
Thank you for supporting this worthy project. We will announce the cast on IMDB soon.
With gratitude.
