Hey there, my name is Jack Fagan and the past year and a bit I've been working on my debut album, 'Everyday Hymns'.

On the cover video you'll see a few clips of the album taking shape, both the writing and recording of it.

This album has been my main, overarching goal for almost two years now, with a few singles breaking up the radio silence whilst I developed it.

The album weaves together the interpersonal struggles I've faced since starting the album and the greater issues we've all been facing, into a collection of tracks that I'd like to believe paint a picture of life for the last two years. Rage, sadness, regret and love all smashed together into a spinning disk (you'll have to pay outta pocket for).

It's my hope that through this track list, you'll get a window into life from my perspective and be able to relate your own experiences towards it.

Two of the biggest themes of the album are love and death.

Death being the end we all meet is unavoidable, and the dread this causes is a fundamental part of being human. No matter how hard we try, that feeling will always hang over our shoulders, through funerals, through birthdays, until finally it's our turn.

However, just because we shall one day perish, doesn't mean that we shouldn't live and love in the 'mean-whilst'. A big part of this album is trying to accept my place in the universe and move forwards without worry. To celebrate what we've been given however ephemeral it may be.

WHAT DO YOU GET?

The only promise of this campaign is that if you donate £60 or more, you get a copy of the vinyl upon release. People living within 40 miles of airdrie will also have their albums hand delivered.

There are of course, a few tracks that fit outside this though, with a track focussing on media misguidance and manipulation, a track focussed on those absorbed by fascist worldviews and finally one on anxiety and how it can hold dominion over your every thought if you're not careful.

Whilst I've tried my hardest to finance this album myself, I've come to realise that the scope I have in mind is currently outside of my reach, and thus I've created this Gofundme.

Here is the outlying budget.

Vinyl pressing - £2100
Vinyl mastering - £200
Art work - £500
Session Musicians - £600
Producer Costs - £2000

Whilst these costs are quite steep, all those involved are local British artists and producers and by funding this album you'll also help fund these talented individuals as well.

Thanks, Jack. (And probably also Sean)
