We, the children of Gary Barnett have the unfortunate and regrettable announcement that Dad went home to Heaven on April 15, 2024, at 1:49 am, rather unexpectedly. We are all heartbroken and trying to navigate our lives without Dad. We all take solice in the fact that he’s with his beloved wife of 41 years, as well as countless other family members and pets. Mom has only been gone for 10 months, and his fragile health (after beating Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2023), and his recent diagnosis of congestive heart failure made his health just that much more fragile. We can imagine how excited Dad was when he found himself standing before our Lord, and hearing the words, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”

We all know that covering the expenses for his final wishes of cremation and related incidentals can be great and we are asking for help with these expenditures.

We will be planning a Celebration of Life for Dad, as a way for all of us to come together to share our favorite memories and support each other at this difficult time.
