Help fund for our student film called The Graveyard Shift

G’day all,

Our team is looking to get fundraising to be able to help create our second-year short film.

Our names are James Stevens (director), Laura Watson (producer), Indiana Ronchi (cinematographer), Samuel Rutherford-Lemon (head writer), Scarlett MacPherson (editor) and Ruby Monson (sound design), we are all currently studying Film and Television at Swinburne University of Technology.

’The Graveyard Shift’ is our major film project for the second year of our bachelors. The film centers around the need to confront ones grief, let go and move on.

‘After his partner Tammy’s passing, Arno, a grief-stricken office worker, accepts a solitary position at an old radio tower, where he discovers he can communicate with the dead – forcing him to face his grief and guilt and move on from Tammy’.

Donations will largely be going toward film stock, film development, performers’ wages and potential fees for film festivals.

Along with this, we are investing in quality lenses, sets and locations to help fortify our vision for ’The Graveyard Shift’.

All donations are appreciated, yet there are certain donation tiers;

All donation tiers stack:

$0 - $10: A thankyou in the film’s credits. Along with a verbal thank you if you meet us in the real world and a link to the bts video of the making of the film.

$20 - A signed thank you card from the crew (Melbourne-based)

$50 - You will attain an executive producer role in the film’s credits. You will also get a link to the directors commentary of the film.

$100 - James will shout you drink. Along with this, you will get a printout of the film’s theatrical poster. You will also receive 5 frames of the original 16mm negative (Melbourne-based) and a link to the directors drunk commentary of the film.

$500 - You will receive a cd of the film's score composed by Oliver Smith, Xavier Lanalm and Nathan Kelly, as well as poster of your choice. And one of the core crew (probably Indy or James) will shave their head and send you a video of it.

$1000 - A.N.Y.T.H.I.N.G goes .... do you want to get back at one of the crew for something they did in high school? Now is the time. Along with this, you will be able to attend the wrap dinner/drinks.

HIGHEST DONATION: An all-expenses paid dinner with the cast members and their partners. Indy Ronchi will be your date... who knows where the night will take you.

We are all extremely grateful and excited to be working alongside one another during the production of ‘The Graveyard Shift’, although this film may be a university assignment, it is also a passion project.

All of us have put our time, money and energy into this project and we would be so grateful if you too could help us.
