Support Amanda's Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer

Update: On 4/18/25, Amanda left peacefully surrounded by her family. Our is eternally grateful for everyone’s support in Amanda’s journey fighting her cancer, and we kindly ask for some space as we process her passing. We will leave details of her journey with chemotherapy below for those that wish to reflect at this time. Should anyone wish to support our family further, a separate fundraiser will be generated to assist with her funeral, which will be announced at a later time. “Hello, my name is Amanda Thao, and I am fundraising for myself as I go through my journey with cancer. In February 2024, I was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer (gastric adenocarcinoma with peritoneal carcinomatosis). When our family heard of this news, our world was turned upside down; I would undergo my greatest challenge in life yet. Despite the difficult journey ahead of me, I remain positive and motivated, and wish to pursue chemotherapy in hopes of treating my cancer. However, this is a fight that I cannot face alone. Unfortunately, our family is not in a position to fund for the cost of treatment. We are seeking funding to assist with the cost of chemotherapy treatment, as well any other expenses accrued due to my inability to work, such as living expenses.
