Hi everyone — I’m raising money for Fitz, a handsome, gentle cat who has already endured so much pain and heartbreak in his short life.

Fitz was rescued from a shelter after suffering a broken leg, but he never received the proper treatment he desperately needed. His leg healed the wrong way, leaving him in pain and struggling to do simple things that should come easily — like walking, stretching, or playing.

But Fitz’s story didn’t end there. He was adopted, only to be left on the side of the road, abandoned and alone. He was found and brought back to the shelter again, confused and heartbroken. Someone else promised to give him a home but never came back for him.

By the time I met Fitz, he had been failed by people more times than anyone — or any animal — should have to experience. But even with all that, he still leaned in for affection. He still purred when I pet him. He still trusted. That’s when I knew I couldn’t walk away. I adopted him with one promise: that his story of pain would end with love.

Now, I’m reaching out to ask for help giving Fitz the care he deserves — surgery and treatment that will finally let him live pain-free and happy. He deserves to climb, to play, to stretch in the sunlight without hurting. He deserves to know that love doesn’t leave.
