Over the years, Team 597 has grown substantially and our mission is to continue exciting our community about STEM while encouraging young POC to explore the world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

Our students gain STEM workforce experience through hands-on application of programming, robot building, graphic design, marketing, and business. This year, we are excited to welcome new students into our Wolverine Family and SHARE our love for the FIRST Robotics Competition.

Due to the pandemic, our funding during 2021 and 2022 differ greatly from our usual financial course. As a result, we are currently facing hardships in funding our 2023 season.

Our goal of $25,000 is essential to covering our 2023 season costs which include:

-Robot parts and tools

-Competition Travel/Hotel Fees

-Registration Fees

The benefits of supporting our robotics program include a tax write-off and the ability to support motivated and dedicated inner-city kids.

Donations of $200 include receiving a free team shirt

Donations of $500 include a customized 3D-printed nameplate and a shirt

Donations of $1000 include a team shirt and name or logo on the robot and 3D printed nameplate
