Help Fund Felix 's Surgery

I'm raising funds on behalf of my friend's dog Felix, a 7 year old Husky. I'm hoping this fundraiser will help cover the cost of knee surgery along with other related out of pocket expenses i.e., medicine, transportation, emergency vet visits, missing wages, etc.

From Felix's owner:

Felix has been recovering from a partial CCL/ACL tear since late January. He was put on a treatment plan for four weeks, two weeks into his treatment he tripped on our outside steps and fell resulting in a more severe full CCL/ACL tear on his other leg. We spent a night at the animal hospital, and were given a referral for surgery. Since falling his mobility is severely hindered and it is extremely painful for him to walk. He must be supported while walking and going potty, and supervised pretty much around the clock. This surgery is necessary at least on one knee and recommended for better quality of life on the other.

After our surgery consult I was quoted for both knees at the same time, roughly $10,000 on the low end and for each individual leg roughly $7,000 each. They require payment up front in full prior to receiving care, and I am unfortunately not equipped with a spare 10k.
