Hey there, my name is Grayson Di Rienzo and I'm directing a whimsical experimental narrative short film titled Far From the Apple Tree, written by Allison Lord. Our narrative follows Percy, a small town lesbian, who’s recently single. Percy wants a hot prom date so her best friend, Jonah, helps Percy perform a spell that will give her all she desires. Will she find a prom date or something more? This short film is fun, quirky, and queer while exploring themes of escapism and discovering self worth.
