FAMILY FUN DAYS™ EVENTS - The Woodlands, Texas
We are raising funds for expenses and funding for our GCU Events 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization to help us Create, Fund, and Implement FREE FAMILY FUN DAYS™ Events in Texas and across the USA to help local communities.

Our First Events are in the works to be in The Woodlands Texas in the Summer 2026 and Yoakum Texas in the Fall 2026. We are booking other local communities as we receive requests.
MISSION:
Each event is created to help families and individuals in their own community find and get the help they need, hands on, boots on the ground, face-to-face. While we target specifically suicide and trafficking, all non-profits and agencies are encouraged to be a part of each event, those local and national.
We support our first responders, law enforcement, and firefighters and encourage them to have a presence at the event so that their community can get to know them better.
ENTERTAINMENT:
For most events, there will be all day entertainment that can include but is not limited to, Live Music, Dance, Theatrical Performances, Competitions, Talent Shows, Film, etc.
Joseph is available to use his music and expertise to spearhead these events. We want to include local talent so that each community can see who they have in their midst that they can get behind and encourage. We may have some popular artists anchor some of these events with a concert that may or may not be free. It's fluid and each community can add their special talents and abilities to make it theirs.
INFORMATION & HELP:
Local help information will be distributed by local and national agencies and non-profits with booths set up around the area. In some events, there will be live speakers sharing this information.
SPONSORS, ADVERTISING, & VENDORS:
Sponsors and Advertising will be available to help the event be free for all to attend. It's usually those, who are in a tight place financially, that need help the most. Booths can be rented for Businesses, Services, Arts & Crafts, Fun Stuff, etc. SHOW YOUR STUFF! And let the community meet you and your company.
SCAVENGER HUNTS:
Scavenger or Treasure Hunts can be added to help children, teens, and adults learn certain information by these hunts, making learning a lot of fun and perhaps a group or family venture together.
FAMILY FRIENDLY:
Games will be provided for family fun! Who has games in your community they can set up?
FOOD:
Food Trucks, Cook Off Competitions, etc. Hmmm! What kind of food is your community known for? What kind do you want?
THEMES:
Each event can have its own theme, relevant to each community. You design it. Create some road signs to let folks know how to get around at the event. Where's the food? Repeat it yearly.
If the community can come out and have fun together, chances are great they'll make new friends. Friends help each other and fear and crime decrease. We can make our community safer. It's America! We help each other here to succeed! It's in our DNA!
Joseph James has been working on this for over three years now. He was originally asked by the Director of Sales for The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce to put an event together for the community. Thus, FAMILY FUN DAYS™ Events was born out of it. He went through a very trying and dangerous year medically with his health in 2024, but is back and going forward. His family has used mostly their own resources and funds to get this far, but now we need others to step up and together we can help change our communities, our state, our nation, and our world.
