Help Fund Emergency Treatment for My Kitty
I rescued my cat, Coley, ten years ago from the street when I was living in Monterey Bay. She has since become one of the dearest members of my family in addition to my emotional support animal. She's the best little buddy I've ever had and has touched the lives of so many who have come to love her. I don't know who I would be if I didn't bring her into my family those ten years ago. She's incredibly smart, loving, and perceptive and has always brought an immense amount of joy to my life.
On August 5, 2021, I took her into the vet after noticing a bleed in her right eye. They ran a series of diagnostics, and via a blood panel, discovered that she has Stage 3 Kidney Disease. This is something I am told she could potentially see a full recovery from, if given the proper treatment, but would otherwise be terminal. Since receiving this diagnosis, I did what any good mama would do and followed doctors orders for immediate hospitalization where she's been receiving blood transfusions, IV fluids, antibiotics, and dialysis.
I don't normally feel comfortable asking people for help. I've always persevered through all the many challenges that life has thrown my way, and have always landed gracefully on my own two feet. But this time I really do need help. She has a real chance to continue to live a long, full, and happy life -- and I really want her to continue being a big part of mine. So if anyone has any ability to help Coley get the care she needs to save her life, I would be forever grateful and humbled by your love.
Thank you for caring.
