Help Fund Elizabeth's Trip to Vietnam

Aloha,

I am Elizabeth Balanza, a junior at President Theodore Roosevelt High School. I am a part of the Pacific Asian Affairs Council (PAAC) here at RHS and have been selected to travel to Vietnam under their Study Tours Abroad Program over the summer to learn about their enriching culture and history.

I am very lucky to be chosen along with 16 other applicants to travel with them among many applicants from across the Hawaiian Islands, and I am proud to represent Hawaii!

I have received a great scholarship from the Freeman Foundation, and now I am working towards covering the rest of the cost.

Travel Dates: June 7 - June 24

Unfortunately, this trip does cost money (around $2,000), and it would be great if anyone could help fund this trip for me!

To me, this trip isn’t just a fun experience but a great opportunity to travel on my own and learn about different cultures and aspects around the world. Furthermore, this trip would help my professional and career goals, and I would not have the opportunity to travel otherwise.

All funds will go towards my fees for this trip and handled under my parents care.
