On Sunday the 8th of April, Elijah Viegas, a 27 yr old from Geelong was surfing at 13th beach when he suffered a terrible surfing accident, resulting in a near drowning. Following this he was airlifted to the Alfred hospital and was in an induced coma. He has since woken from this coma, and is recovering at home.
To help aid in medical costs, including the estimated $12,500 air ambulance fee, any donations, big or small, would be greatly appreciated by Elijah and his family during this difficult time.
