Help Fund Eli Beard's Academic Journey to Italy!

Hello! My name is Elijah Beard. I am currently in my 3rd academic year as an Astrophysics major at the University of Colorado Boulder. Recently, I have been offered a position in a highly competitive course that will take place over three weeks in Florence and Rome, and I am currently working on raising funds for the trip. The course will include visits to many historical astronomy and astrophysics locations such as the lab of Galileo and other sites of importance relating to Galileo and his contemporaries. The trip will conclude with a visit to the Vatican's Observatory, where we will get to meet with the Pope's astronomer in person. I am extremely grateful to be offered a position in this highly competitive course. After close review, I will be unable to fully fund the trip by working part-time and with a financial gift from my parents, so I am seeking help for the remaining funds.
