I'm turning 27 today and have no real interest in partying about it. Considering Ukraine, not to mention plenty of other countries rife with violence (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ongoing_armed_conflicts), Doctors Without Borders could use more money.

To borrow a favorite quote of my brother's (spoken by Detective Somerset in the movie Se7en): "Ernest Hemingway once wrote, 'The world is a fine place and worth fighting for.' I agree with the second part."
