Help fund Delaney's Dream to Compete at Nationals

Hi! My name is Delaney Tackett. I am 14 years old and in the eighth grade. I set a goal for myself this year to compete on the 16U Girls National Dual team representing Ohio AND qualify to compete at the National Wrestling Championship in Fargo.

I’ve been selected to represent Team Ohio in the 110lb weight class for the Women’s National Duals, which will be held June 18-21 in Westfield, Indiana. As one of the very youngest in my division, it was a great honor to be chosen and I am excited to compete and hope to represent our state well.

I also recently made the podium at Central Regional Championships, qualifying me to be a member of the 2025 USA Wrestling-Ohio National Team. The National Wrestling Championships will be held at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND, July 10-19.

I’ve been working hard training and competing year-round and can’t wait to put myself to the test at this level alongside and against some of the most talented female wrestlers in the nation.

I’ll also be attending intensive training camps with my teammates in June and July.

While that is all incredibly exciting, I now have a short time to fundraise for my trip. The cost for me to attend the duals is $525 and $1500 to compete for Ohio at Fargo, totaling $2,025.

We understand times are tough for everyone, but my family and I would be humbled and so grateful for any donations to help me get there! All donations are tax exempt and will go toward my travel expenses, gear and tournament fees.
