Dead Walk Fest was founded by Anthony Cooney with the goal of creating opportunities for independent horror filmmakers, artists, musicians, vendors, and creators who are often overlooked by traditional industry spaces. What began as a passion project has grown into a community-driven platform focused on supporting independent film, original artwork, physical media culture, live events, and emerging creators across multiple mediums. Funds raised through this campaign will be reinvested directly into independent film screenings and licensing, artist commissions, event production, merchandise featuring original artwork, website and social media development, promotional support for creators, podcast and video content, venue and equipment improvements, and expanding opportunities for independent artists and filmmakers to showcase their work. Our mission is to continue building an inclusive and lasting horror community that gives creators a platform, connects audiences with independent art, and helps keep underground horror culture alive and accessible for everyone.
