Hi everyone, my name is Lucas Durelle, and I’m a student filmmaker currently studying writing for TV & Film in Toronto Film School.

I’m raising $3,000 to help fund my thesis short film titled “Coming to You Live…” a suspenseful, emotional story set in the early 1970s, following a late night radio host who unknowingly becomes the soundtrack to his own heartbreak.

Very few are chosen to film their thesis film and I am honored that my script was chosen. This film is a student production, but we’re treating it like a professional set. The funds raised will go directly toward essential production costs including locations, props, set dressing, cast/crew meals, transportation, and equipment needs. This will ensure that the project meets professional standards and can be submitted into festivals and award showcases.

We need funding secured by February 20th in order to pay deposits and lock in our filming schedule. Even a small donation helps bring this project to life and if you can’t donate, sharing the campaign is just as valuable.
