Please help us support Collin Bridge, Film Production Major, fund his junior short film. Funds will assist in paying for his location and actors. Any amount will be extremely appreciated. Also, anyone who contributes will be invited to a special screening and party in Phoenix!

Message from Collin to future donors:

The film follows a 13-year-old boy, JJ, who, in a stubborn attempt to get back at his mom, decides to wait in the car while she fills up at a rural gas station. Alone at the station, JJ is exposed to a new, unsettling resident of the community ... one that challenges his comfort and beliefs.

Through their proximity and a go-between of misunderstandings, the film explores themes of compassion, responsibility, and the necessity of communication. The film fits the coming-of-age genre for people at any stage of life.

The themes are built both from action and, importantly, from the actions we do not take, which may open our eyes to the distance between our stated values and our reality. It's intended to be a fable that does not force a clear moral or meaning, but one that reflects the truth and self-awareness of the characters ... and ourselves.

I have constructed this budget precisely with my producer, Nikolai Debrito, and we have ensured every single dollar is being utilized to achieve our vision at hand—to minimize costs without diminishing any quality of the story we are capable of telling.

There is a quote in the lines of, "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:21. Anyone who donates to this project is choosing to believe in my cast and crew, the story, and the importance of new film and art. My crew and I truly appreciate your support. While I do not have the promises of billion-dollar returns like Disney, I do have limitless credits. Every donation matters, so every donation will receive a credit at the end of the film (and your choice of name or tag). Thank you so much for the support. I cannot wait to bring this movie out into the world.

Sincerely, Collin Bridge!
