Colby is scheduled for his bone marrow transplant for

July 17th 2024. Praise God!

Preconditioning doctor’s appointments have started in Seattle @ The Seattle Children’s Hospital. We have 3-9 doctor appointments a day.

July 12th Colby will be admitted into the hospital and starts chemotherapy.

July 17th Colby gets his transplant and will be in the hospital for 4-6 weeks.

Then we will be in an isolation for 100 days.

We have been blessed with a room at Ronald McDonald house and are surrounded by families that are going through the similar treatments we are, God is so good for blessing us with such a safe a supportive home.

A little about Colby's Bone Marrow Story.

My 14-year-old son Colby Jack’s life has drastically changed since October 9, 2023, when he was diagnosed with Severe A-plastic Anemia.

He has spent the last seven months maintaining his health by spending 2-to 3 days a week in the hospital getting blood and platelet transfusions as needed. Each visit is 4-8 hours long. Colby has gotten around 40 transfusions and is surviving on the blood donations of others. He has had 4 or so hospital stays ranging from 10 days to 21 days at time. He takes 15-35 pills a day to maintain everything.

We’re so blessed to finally have a solution to Colby’s health condition with a bone marrow match and transplant, and for him to be able to get back to being a teenage kid.
