Ciyanna Okocha is a sophomore at Louisa County High School, in Mineral, VA. Wrestling is her passion. She has been wrestling since 8th grade.
In the past year she has won VA freestyle states, been named to the All-Tournament team for Greco-Roman, earned a 2x National Championship at the USA Girls Midwest Nationals, earned 3rd and All-American status at Beast of the East, was crowned champion for the VHSL High School Girls States & was just crowned champion at the USAW CLAW US Open for the 170lb weight class in the High School Girls Showcase.
In this latest competition she went into it not being ranked and seeded at #10; she defeated 3 nationally ranked girls to make it to the finals where she went against the #5 girl in the nation and ultimately won the match.
Ciyanna is just getting started. She’s determined to keep competing at the national level, challenging herself against some of the best wrestlers in the country.
Pursuing this dream comes with significant expenses—including training, travel, and tournament fees—which can add up quickly. We’re kindly asking for your support to help offset these costs and keep her momentum going.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings her one step closer to her goals. Thank you for being part of her journey!
Let’s help Ciyanna make her dreams a reality and send her to these tournaments to gain more national attention while representing Louisa, VIRGINIA & girls wrestling!!
