My dog Carmen was attacked by another dog on March 3rd, 2021. The veterinarian was hopeful at first, but Carmen's wounds proved fatal overnight. Words cannot describe what Carmen meant to me. For almost 12 years, she was by my side. She was my best friend, and I miss her dearly.

I am in the process of locating the dog owner that fled the scene after the attack. However, I have not been able to reach him yet. I am starting this fundraiser to help pay off the vet bills that I have accumulated during the last two days of Carmens life at the emergency vet. I want to thank everyone who has reached out to me. I feel so blessed to have such kind and thoughtful people in my life. 

If I am able to pursue a small claims lawsuit, all funds raised from this site will be donated to the ASPCA. Thank you for your support.
