Hi, my name is Robin/Jaq (depending on where you know me) and my cat Carlos has cancer.

She had a screening in April which is when we found out her tumour was cancerous, but now she needs a second screening before her operation. This means that after paying around $600 for the initial screening, we now have to pay up to $1000 for the second one (the additional $400 is in case she needs an ultrasound scan as well.) This does not even begin to cover her actual operation.

Update 15th Oct: I have booked her screening on Monday the 20th (upcoming monday.)

I want to add that Carlos does have insurance, but of course you never know how much they’re able to cover. I’ll be adding more updates in the future :)
