Help Fund Campbell Howard's Short Film: Bird Song!
Donation protected
Hello all!
My name is Campbell Howard. I’m a junior at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where I’m majoring in Film & Television Production. Currently, I’m enrolled in Intermediate Experimental Filmmaking, a course that challenges students to create a short film of up to 8 minutes, exploring a subject or theme of their choice.
My film, Bird Song, uses the metaphor of birds to explore the complexities and challenges women (particularly young women) regularly face, set in New York's exceptionally urban environment. Bird Song examines themes of exoticism, freedom, and identity. Through whimsical and imaginative costuming, the female characters will be dressed as birds, embodying both the fragility and power that come with growth and self-discovery.
Student filmmaking is a greatly underfunded art form. To bring my vision to life, I’m seeking funding to cover the costs of production design, including the creation of unique and imaginative bird-inspired costumes.
Any contribution is greatly appreciated, and all donors will be included in the credits of the film as sponsors of its production.
Thank you!
Campbell Howard,
Director and Writer of Bird Song.
