Help Fund Callahan Dragstrip for the Racing community.

Hello, racing friends. We are David and Lisa Hicken. We own Callahan Speedway, Callahan RC Raceway, and Callahan Dragway.

David and I are seeking some community help to get this project off the ground and racing. Along with the GoFunMe, we plan to have Car, Truck, and Motorcycle shows, BBQ cookoffs, and selling Merchandise.

The funds will be used to purchase items for the dragstrip not included in the bid to build the facility.

Example: Jersey walls. We have a big budget of $274,000, but we have someone who will sell them to us for $30,000. That's a big difference!

We can save money on many things, but we would have to pay cash for them.

David and I have used our retirement and some inheritance over the last three years on Permits, Engineering, and Consulting fees to help us get all the necessary approvals. Needless to say, we are at a point where funds are tight, and we need some help.

We believe that the Drag Strip is a much-needed and wanted entertainment facility for the community and surrounding area of racers. Help us get the racers off the streets and onto a legal, family-friendly Drag Strip to go to each weekend.
