Help Fund Beor's FIP Treatment

Hi! My name is Kat. You might know me because I write fanfiction under the pseudonym losingmymindtonight. Or because I make stupid posts on Tumblr.

But you might not know Beor. He's my 2.5-year-old tuxedo cat that I adopted in 2019. Since then, he's been by my side through heartbreaks, grief, and an entire pandemic. The past two years have been unbearable for everyone, and it's been no different for me. On top of COVID, at the beginning of January I lost my family's beloved cat, Satire. Only a week or so later, my horse, Honey, passed away. In April and June, I unexpectedly and tragically lost my last two ponies, Blue and Pancho. In case any of you are familiar with my fanfiction, Blue is the pony that Riding To New York was based on. He was the best friend I've ever had. Learning to live without him has been the most painful experience of my life.

On Thursday, Beor's vet diagnosed him with FIP. Without treatment, this is a death sentence. Fortunately, there is a new treatment option. Unfortunately, it's incredibly expensive. Currently, his entire course of treatment is expected to cost over $4,000, not counting vet visits, supplements, extra medication, and any other expenses. I'm currently a college student and those kinds of numbers are beyond anything I can comprehend or afford. But I'm determined to give him the best chance I can. So: I'm asking for help.

As you can see from the picture, Beor is one of the sweetest little souls I've ever known. He doesn't deserve this. I want him to have a long life full of snuggles, good treats, and lots of games of fetch (which, yes, he does!). I know times are hard right now, but anything you can give would be beyond appreciated. If you don't have the resources to donate, please just keep us in your thoughts.
