Help Keep Battle Realms Alive!!!

Hi, I'm Ed Del Castillo, and I am the creator of Battle Realms.  I'm truly humbled and excited to launch this fan requested donation page.  Since 2001, when Battle Realms first launched, the fans have enjoyed the game and kept in contact with me, talking about how much they love the game and continue to play it years later.

Now, on the 20th anniversary of "BR", there's been  outpouring of requests for a place where fans around the world can donate to the ongoing development of the game.  So here it is! The Battle Realms Go Fund Me page.

All donations will go towards the ongoing development of Battle Realms : Zen Edition.

The Zen Edition is a living product that is currently focussed around 3 main initiatives.
1. Complete Ed's vision for the game.  
Many of you may not know this, but because of shenanigans on the publisher side, we didn't receive the proper support leading up to, through, and after launch that a big title like this normally gets.  The result was a game with some bugs and imbalances.  One of our main initiatives is to clean all that up and get the game to more closely match my original vision for the game.

2. Better Balance.
We've learned a lot in the past 20 years and we want to use that to make a game that is better balanced than ever.

3. Move forward together with our players.
We are paying attention to your comments and critiques of the game and are using that to come up with better solutions for the  game. 

The Zen Edition can be found exclusively on Steam and the original 2001 version of the game can be found on Good Old Games.  I invite you to purchase the Zen Edition as this will be the "official" version of the game and the one that is closer to the ultimate vision for Battle Realms.

If we are lucky enough to find ourselves in a situation where we have completed the Zen Edition to our satisfaction, then all donations will be allocated towards the next installment in the Battle Realms universe.  Depending on the funds, this may turn into an expansion or maybe even a full sequel.

There is a tome of Battle Realms Lore that has yet to be told and many clans that have yet to see the light of day and I personally can't wait for the day when Kenji is able to travel back to the mainland and encounter the resourceful Monkey Clan, the graceful Crane Clan, and the dreaded Spider Clan.

This has been an amazing 20 year journey with all the BR fans, and I can't wait for what the next 20 years will bring! :)
