Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh (Peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings),

We are the Atlanta University Center Muslim Student Association, and we are gathering funds for Ramadan 2023. As an AUC student association, we are comprised of members from three institutions, Spelman College, Morehouse College, and Clark Atlanta University. This is the first year that we are attempting to provide Iftars for the month of Ramadan. And we need YOUR help!

All of our members are college students who during this time should not have to struggle between class work and food insecurity. As such, we have comprised a team of student leaders who have volunteered to set up Iftars for the month of Ramadan. And while we have received some support from the institutions it is not enough to ensure that we are able to complete all of our religious obligations. Although local masjids, give out free food there are members within our ummah who do not have access to a vehicle or the funds to rideshare. Thus, in order to be able to properly support your young brothers and sisters across three campuses during this time of worship and need, we sincerely, and humbly ask for your help.
