Help Fund Aubrey's Healing Procedure

Dear Family and Friends,

As many of you know, Aubrey was in a skiing accident in December 2022 and broke three bones in her back (T11, T6, L4). Thankfully, the breaks in her bones have healed; however, she has been dealing with chronic back and hip pain as a result of her accident. We have been to numerous doctors and have done months of physical therapy, but her pain only seems to be getting worse. It has been a long journey and has felt discouraging at times. Recently, Aubrey got a discography (fancy x-ray) on June 12, and her doctor was finally able to identify the exact location of her intense pain. Her L5 disc has a tear in it. The solution the doctor is recommending is a newer procedure involving stem cell regeneration, which has shown to be more successful than traditional surgery with much less risk and rehabilitation. The full name of the procedure is “stem cell demac bone marrow aspirate concentrate L5, S1 lateral, and joints.” During the procedure, her doctor will take her bone marrow, remove her cells, separate them, and combine them with regenerative ones to help the area not be inflamed and restore normal function to her back. Because this type of regenerative medicine is known to work so well, it is very expensive but is not covered by insurance… We are reaching out to ask if you would consider giving to help us cover the cost. The full amount of the procedure is $9,000. We know God is the ultimate provider and healer, and we are trusting him to help provide the funds. If we can offset the cost of the procedure even a small bit, we would be very thankful. If you are not able to give, we are reaching out to at least ask you to keep Aubrey in your prayers. The date of the procedure is July 16th. The full amount is also due that day, so whatever money we can raise will help cover the cost. Thank you for reading and praying for Aubrey. It is much appreciated. Since Aubrey’s accident, she has said that it has changed her for the better. When dealing with chronic pain, it is easy to despair at the situation and blame God; but, Aubrey has been asking God to help her use this experience to grow her closer to Him. She has been reflecting on God’s promise in Psalms 55:22 “Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.”
