My name is Vera Kenehan, and I’ve had the privilege of knowing Andrej Val since he was a child. I’ve watched him grow into a thoughtful, determined, and passionate young man, with a deep love for history and politics.

This year, Andrej Val achieved something truly remarkable: he has been admitted to University College London (UCL) to study Politics and International Relations — one of the world’s leading universities for this field.

What makes his journey so inspiring is how much of it he has carved out for himself. Coming from modest beginnings, he earned a full scholarship to Radley College, one of the UK’s top boarding schools, where he stood out not just for his academic ability but for his humility and drive.

Unlike Radley, where his brilliance earned him a full scholarship, scholarship opportunitieis for undergraduate studies are extremely scarce while the tuition for international students is triple .
