Help Fund an Indie, Student-Made Music video!

Introduction:

Hello, My name is Pablo Echevarría and I am the director of the music video for Nico Zaca's Underworld. This video is a collaboration between myself, a Junior at Savannah College of Art and Design studying Film & Television, and Nico Zaca, a Washington, D.C.-based singer-songwriter, composer, and producer. Nico and I met as students at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts, where we studied classical guitar and theatrical production, respectively.

When the opportunity arose for me to take a music video production course this quarter, I knew right away I wanted to make a music video for Nico's newest single, Underworld. It is an electronic dance song that tackles feelings of self-doubt and finding oneself in the face of adversity, themes that I found deeply moving and needed to be told.

Video Synopsis:

The Underworld music video is a hybrid narrative/performance video. The video revolves around our protagonist, a spy, who has been sent to infiltrate a mysterious nightclub. As the night progresses our spy finds himself being carried away by the world of the club and into a powerfully electrifying performance.

Why Donate?

As a film student, the most important learning experience you can have is being part of a film crew. Unfortunately, producing projects can be expensive and it can often feel as though your creative vision is completely being undermined by production costs and fees.

That's when donors like you come into play! By donating to this project, you are helping bring this video to life and helping advance, not only the careers of a future director and independent musician but also the careers of the 15+ actors and crew members working to put this music video out into the world.
