My name is Alysia Hall, and I am five months away from graduating with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I am so close to achieving a goal I’ve worked toward for four years, but currently, my tuition has exceeded what I can afford on my own. I am asking for support that will directly contribute to my education and help me step into my calling to become a youth counselor.

Since I was a young girl, I have wanted to be a psychologist—long before I even knew what one truly was. As I grew older, I became the friend who offered support, encouragement, and advice to those going through difficult situations. Still, over the years, I explored other career paths, including cosmetology, interior design, theology, massage therapy, and sign language interpreting. But in 2020, during the COVID quarantine, God led me to enroll in online college at Regent University and pursue a degree in Psychology. I followed His lead, completed my coursework, and earned my associate degree in 2023. I was proud and thought that might be the end of my academic journey—but God had other plans. One day, while I was in the kitchen, He clearly spoke to me and told me to keep going. Out of obedience and faith, I contacted my school and enrolled in the Bachelor’s program.

My heart is to mentor and counsel young people who are experiencing trauma, hardship, or anything affecting their mental and emotional well-being. I genuinely believe this is the calling God has placed on my life, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to fulfill it. My tuition balance after receiving financial aid for the Fall 2025 semester is $2978, excluding book fees. Now that the semester ended on December 20, I have to pay my balance to register for the Spring semester, which starts on January 12, 2026. My balance started off at $2,788, but because of the $1000 I am able to pay on my own along with the countless donations that I greatly appreciate, my balance is now $1,158. Glory to God!
