Help Fund Allayah's Surgery

I'm creating this GoFund Me on behalf of my daughter, Allayah. For the past two years, she has been struggling with chronic pain & health issues, which have dramatically impacted her quality of life. In the fall of 2020, following blood work, she tested positive for two auto-immune conditions. One involving her connective tissue and the other unknown. Following the positive RNP (connective tissue disorder) - they tested her for Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Polymyositis, etc. All of which they have ruled out -- which we are so thankful for!! But it has led us on quite a chase to discover what is going on. Many specialists & doctor appointments later, and although still working to find what all is going on, they feel she has a severe case of endometriosis, that has likely existed inside her body for several years (and possibly her whole life), along with other female health issues.

The best-known help for endometriosis is an excision surgery to remove the excess tissue within her body. We are so thankful Allayah is scheduled to have this excision surgery on July 5th. The surgery costs are estimated to be around $20-25,000. Allayah is currently on state health coverage, and they will not cover the surgery treatment. She will need to have the surgery done in Idaho, with one of the few endometriosis specialists in the U.S. that perform this type of surgery. Allayah has been working, planning fundraisers and has taken the past semester off college to work & get the help she needs to improve her quality of life.

As a Mom, it has been so difficult to watch my daughter struggle through the last two years with chronic pain and unresolved physical issues. While difficult, it has also been laced with the joy of watching her press into Christ with all she has. Christ has truly become her treasure. She knows His mercies are new every morning because she's had to depend on that. And I have watched the Lord teach her so much during this season. As we open God's Word, we find that while our Savior is mighty to save & heal, we often realize His nearness in our sufferings. We pray for God to heal her, for contentment in His will, and for His glory to be brightly displayed through her. His faithfulness & goodness is constant & sure!

We are praying for the Lord to provide for Allayah's needs -- both for the practical monetary expenses and for His hand in leading her to the medical care that will give physical improvement to her as well.
