our beloved Alecia Gatlin will be heading on an early recharge starting next week. They’ll be taking the full 6 weeks at half-pay. The reason for this is less for some fun rest and relaxation, and more about their health needs.

Alecia has had a variety of health issues that have led to their health being at a relatively low point for several months. In order to cope, they’ve exhausted every resource that their employer can provide for medical leave.

In order to have enough time to recover and heal, they’re taking an extended sabbatical for six weeks that will include a 50% paycut. Their income is helping to support themselves, their partner, and three cats.

We are hoping to raise enough to cover the additional 50%, so that they can have full access to funds while away from work.
