Monday morning, our 12 year old German Shepherd Aldo collapsed while heading outside, and was very disoriented and out of it. He was drooling heavily and not eating or moving much.
Tuesday afternoon we took him to the vet for a series of diagnostic xrays and blood work. They discovered a mass on his spleen and are concerned it may have ruptured. They are suggesting we take him to the emergency vet as soon as possible for an ultrasound, to see what the mass is, if it's bleeding, and if surgery is required.
With a mass like this, surgery to remove the spleen and diagnose for potential cancer is often the only option.

After taking Monday and half of Tuesday off of work, the vet visit alone unfortunately is out of our range, and a visit to the emergency vet for this procedure even more so. We just want Aldo to be okay. Anything you can contribute to help us with Aldo's treatment is so greatly appreciated. Any funds raised will go directly toward his vet bills.
Trey, Jeff, and Des thank you all for reading, sharing, and helping us get Aldo the care he needs.
