Help fund Adam Isaacs new album

Hi

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to read Adam's page, we really appreciate it, and we know Adam does too.

Most of you probably know Adam, so we don't have to tell you what an incredible human he is, always smiling, always seeing the funny side of things, even when life gets a little bit tough.

Adam is not only one of the loveliest people we have ever met, he's also an extremely talented singer/songwriter. His live performance featured on YouTube  at The Exeter Phoenix following his success on BBC The Voice, encompasses not only his passion for music but his love for performing his original music to a crowded room.  His sheer dedication to music has always been paramount,
(Well, that and making people giggle until their bellies hurt!)

Adam raising money for the Breathe For Jo campaign

In the time we have known him, Adam has helped so many charities and fund  raising campaigns,  Now it's time for us to give back.....

Why are we raising money for Adam?

These are words we never thought we would have to write in a million years...

38 year old Adam was recently told he has stage 5 kidney failure, before anyone assumes this was caused by drinking too many beers, this is not the case. Adam has a rare kidney disease called IgA nephropathy, also known as Berger’s disease, he is currently desperately in need of a kidney transplant and undergoes dialysis treatment four times a day.

Watch Adams dialysis video (still making light of it naturally!) Scroll down for more details....

Adams dialysis story

IgA nephropathy is a kidney disease that occurs when IgA deposits build up in the kidneys, causing inflammation that damages kidney tissues. IgA is an antibody—a protein made by the immune system to protect the body from foreign substances such as bacteria or viruses, there is no cure other than a transplant.

The last thing Adam would want is sympathy, he would no doubt make a joke about that! But, even though Adam is being uber cool about this, we all know this is incredibly hard for Adam, despite his bravery.

What we also know is, there is one thing we can do to give Adam something to look forward to....

THE ADAM ISAAC ALBUM LAUNCH!

It's been a while but Adam has been busy writing an incredible new album....

We recently spoke to Ads about what he has been doing during lockdown to keep himself busy, he told us he had written a whole new album (he was very excited about this) He then sent us a few songs and they are without a doubt some of his best songs to date!

Adam has told us he would love the opportunity to record his new album, with the hope of an album launch at the Phoenix in Exeter. He has is heart set on it,  he is an absolute legend when it comes to being positive and we would like to help his dreams of a new album come true.

He has exactly the same band members that featured in the original Album launch in 2012, the band played to a sell out audience  and the crowd went wild!

The cost of making an album as well as a  launch at a venue like this is around £6000, we thought we would help Adam by trying to raise half of it, however if we go over our target that would be amazing!

It is Adam's dream to make this happen again, but due to not working for the past year due to Covid19 and continuous hospital visits there is no funding for this.

Adam is still able to gig, despite undergoing dialysis 4 times a day.

So, we would really love your help, and we hope to see you all at The Phoenix in Exeter  this Autumn for the biggest album launch Exeter has  seen in quite some time!

THANK YOU from the  bottom of our hearts.
