Hello!

My name is Desiree Scarborough and I'm a 25 year old artist and designer born, raised and based in Brooklyn, NY. I've started this Go Fund Me to raise money for my largest solo show yet during September New York Fashion Week 2024. I'm working with a variety of emerging and local creatives/ businesses to put together: "Seeing Where I Land".

“Seeing Where I Land” is a twenty look collection inspired by my solo travels to Paris, London, Berlin, Madrid, Segovia and Montreal this summer.

Traveling always makes me feel like anything is possible, that where I’m meant to be is just outside of my comfort zone. This body of work is a reminder to keep chasing that need for adventure and see where I land.

Your donation will go towards supplies (fabric, paints, sewing notions), securing a venue and paying my hardworking team members (photographer, model scout, etc.) Up until this point I've been funding my business solely with my 9-5 and only making work when I could afford to.
